The Los Angeles Natural History Museum gives visitors the chance to explore nature through exhibits on gems and minerals, detailed models and a range of plants and animals from different periods and places of origin.

The museum has several permanent exhibits that include African and North American mammals, Latin American archaeological gems, and the incredible Dinosaur Hall.

You can also see exhibitions on shells, gems and minerals, spider and butterfly pavilions and an insect zoo.

Visiting

Despite not being considered a tourist attraction, the Los Angeles Natural History Museum has very interesting and educational exhibits.
