Manhattan Beach
Manhattan Beach is a 2-mile long stretch of sand that is popular among volleyball players and surfers. Located in the city of Manhattan Beach, it has a mild climate with moderate temperatures due to its proximity to the Pacific Ocean.
As well as the stunning expanse of white sandy beach, its magnificent pier, restored in 1990, is also worth mentioning. This is the oldest preserved pier on the east coast of the United States and is now part of the city's historic monuments.
Manhattan Beach also has a pleasant promenade ideal for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the ocean breeze. In the evening it's a great place to enjoy a cocktail as you watch the sunset.
